He has been with you every day since he was tiny. Went everywhere with you. Of course he is anxious when you leave. Give him some time to readjust to you coming and going. Take some really short trips (or just step outside for a few minutes) and come back. The more that you do this, he will realize that you always return. Don't worry, he'll adjust!
